My name is Joe Benso I lived at 8850 Copeland St. My uncle and aunt owned Joey Stables. Mrs. Martha Malicki and Mr. Joey Nykiel. My mom worked there for over 40 years. I still spend my winters at Cocoa Beach with one of the Malicki daughters. Marythrese Malicki. Also Jane Malicki who was married to Old time Tiger Barney Mccoskey. The other sister is alive and well and living in Farmington Hills Evelyn Hughes. Eve is 87 Jane is 85 and Marythrese is 81. Please keep me informed of your newsletter. Wow! I was told that my grandmother, Anna Kacerik worked at Joey Stables! I was also told she also worked at Rosies Bar and Ideal Bar. She was a cook, also.
I am not familiar with any of these places, but its wonderful to see posts here from people who might have known her.
